In a sense, all Ordinals Inscriptions belong to a single collection, with the first 10,000 being termed Sub10K. Sub10K were inscribed before February 7, 2023, holding irreplicable historical value. Every new inscription added thereafter empowers Sub10K.

Comprising various small projects, Sub10K is linked by a consensus on Time Stamp. The number 10K is a magic number, mirroring top NFT projects like Cryptopunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club, fostering a robust community of 3,000 to 5,000 OG holders.

Without smart contracts, Ordinals protocol cannot generate royalty income for creators. Most projects are one-time deals without ongoing development. For this reason, historical significance becomes the core factor defining a project's value. Sub10K's 'First is First' is the strongest consensus in the Ordinals ecosystem.

Sub10k, born before BRC-20, represents pure art. Throughout history, enduring artworks, like the Dunhuang murals or Medieval oil paintings, have become valuable over time.
